Header: Focus Map hides side panels while keeping editor overlays. Enter Cinema hides every editor control for recording; press Space to return. New Scene resets the scene. Import loads JSON. Export saves JSON. Save Selection stores the current marker set. Reset Draft clears autosave. Tips opens this guide. Routes shows or hides route lines and route handles.
Markers Panel: the filter narrows markers by name or tag. New creates a marker at the current map center. Duplicate copies the active marker. Delete removes it. Prev and Next move through markers. Set Icon, Set Tag, Scale Set, Hide/Show, and Duplicate Set apply to the current working set. Normal click selects one marker. Cmd/Ctrl/Shift + click builds a set for bulk work.
Playback: Play runs the animation. Pause stops on the current frame. Restart restarts from zero. Stop returns to zero. The slider scrubs time manually.
Map Tools: Add Point On Map arms map clicks for route editing. Capture Initial View stores the current map view as the scene start camera. Jump To Initial returns to that stored view.
Camera / Zoom Stops: Add Stop creates a camera keyframe from the current map view. Collapse hides the list. In each shot card, Jump moves to that shot, Capture Current Map overwrites the shot from the current view, and Delete removes it.
Scenario Timeline: Add Step creates an editor-only story beat at the current playback time. Steps can link the current marker selection and an optional camera stop. They do not draw labels on the recording. Jump scrubs playback to the step; Use Selection updates linked markers; Select Markers restores them.
Marker Inspector: Choose Icon changes the active marker icon. Add Manual Point appends a route point without clicking the map. In route rows, Up, Down, and Delete reorder or remove points. The numeric fields edit longitude, latitude, duration, rotation, and scale.
Scenario: create two Roman legions and two barbarian hordes. Select a legion, click Add Point On Map, and place its route point by point. Do the same for the second legion with a different path. Switch to each horde and draw escape routes. Add camera stops for a wide opening shot, a mid-chase tightening shot, and a final battle zoom. Disable Routes before recording so only the animated units and camera moves remain on screen.
